Something about me..
I'm clingy.
There, I said it.
If I like somebody, I don't know how to do it halfway. I want to exist in their personal space. Not in a suffocating way. Just in a natural way.
I want to sit close enough that our knees accidentally touch. I want to send random updates about my day. I want to be the person you think of when something small happens.
I don't like pretending I'm cool and detached. I don't like acting like I don't care when I clearly do. If I'm invested, I'm present. I want conversations that stretch past midnight. I want inside jokes.
I want familiarity.
But somewhere along the way, clingy became an insult. Like wanting closeness means you're needy. Like expressing affection is embarrassing.
Maybe I am clingy. Or maybe I just love loudly. Maybe I don't believe in rationing attention when my heart is involved.
If I like you, you'll know. And I won't apologize for that anymore. #beyourself# # #
